Getting ready to explore Nassau
Celebrity Cruise Lines debuted a new ship in November- The Edge- and I was fortunate enough to sail on her inaugural sailing. This ship is absolutely amazing and I highly suggest you check her out!
While children are welcomed I would definitely recommend it more for an adults only vacation. There is a kid's club but not the water slides like you will find on other cruise ships sailing. (If you are looking for recommendations on family friendly cruises just ask me)
We stayed in an Infinite Veranda stateroom which means our room went right to the water's edge, giving us open air access to the sea. With the touch of a button you can roll down your window and listen to the waves crashing against the ship. It was amazing!
The Edge features an industry- first Magic Carpet. The Magic Carpet is an exciting place to be and also offers the best way to take in some spectacular views. The Carpet changes location- it goes up and down the side of the ship- which offers a distinct experience. So cool!
My husband and I really enjoyed the Martini Bar which is located in the Grand Plaza. In addition to the wonderful cocktails served there is live music for you to enjoy. And for those of you who have seen the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise...the bartenders do magic tricks just like it!!
I can't say enough good things about this ship and I can't wait until I can sail on her again.
