River cruising provides an extraordinary opportunity to experience an area in depth and yet with the ultimate in convenience while maximizing efficient use of travel time. If you would like advice on your next cruise from someone who has been there and done that, and someone who has built long standing relationships with cruise partners, I'm your advisor.

I have been fortunate to have experienced river cruising on the Nile River in Egypt, the Mekong River from Cambodia to Vietnam,on the Rhine River from Amsterdam to Basel,  on the Danube River from Nuremberg to Budapest, on the Seine River from Paris to Normandy, on the Rhone/Saone Rivers in France from Chalon sur Saone to Avignon and sailed the Bordeaux area in France on the Garonne River. 

I have learned to respect the "value" of a luxury cruise line.  I have sailed on Seabourn, Crystal, Regent Cruises and Viking Ocean Cruises.  It is important to understand why a luxury cruise may be a value for a particular cruise traveler...perhaps the value comes with the small ship size, the exotic ports that cannot be accessed by every cruise ship,  the included shore excursions, the fine dining options or special guest speakers.  There are so many reasons to find value in a luxury cruise.
