My Favorite Vacation Memories

Most recently I took a trip to New Orleans and was able to enjoy a carriage ride tour through the French Quarter, shopping in the French Market while mingling with the locals, and touring 7 different plantations and antebellum homes. One of my favorites was Oak Alley Plantation with it's 300 year old Live Oak trees covered in Spanish Moss that create a breeze way from the Mississippi to the 'big house'. I also got to spend couple of nights in the Cajun Country Bayou in a 19th Century shotgun cottage that had been restored. Talk about turning back the hands of time!
