My time spent in Croatia was incredible and I certainly wouldn’t mind making a return visit. There is so many things to do, so I thought I would highlight a few of my favorite things from each of my stops for you. We can talk more about my experience when we start planning your trip!

Ston is known for having some of the best oysters in the world due to its pristine waters. Do not miss a stop for oysters during your visit to Ston … you’d regret it. The town of Ston was originally built in the 14th century. It is famous for its impressive defensive walls and it’s the longest preserved fortification system in Europe. Ston is also renowned for its salt pans, which have been in operation since Roman times.

Korcula is often referred to as the birthplace of Marco Polo, the famous explorer. You can visit the Marco Polo House to learn more about his life and adventures. The town's architecture and layout resemble a smaller version of Dubrovnik, earning it the nickname "Little Dubrovnik."

Hvar is not only famous for its lavender fields but also for its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters. The island is known for its preserved historical architecture, including the Hvar Fortress, which offers panoramic views of the town and surrounding islands.

The Golden Horn beach in Bol is one of the most famous and photogenic beaches in Croatia, thanks to its unique shape. Bol is a lovely coastal town with a charming atmosphere, great for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.

Pula's Colosseum, known as the Pula Arena, is one of the six largest Roman amphitheaters in the world. The city also boasts other Roman ruins and a rich cultural heritage.

Rovinj is a picturesque fishing port with a romantic old town filled with narrow cobblestone streets. It's famous for its truffles. The Church of St. Euphemia sits atop a hill and provides stunning views of the town and the Adriatic Sea.

Dubrovnik's Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is surrounded by impressive medieval walls. It gained worldwide fame as a filming location for the TV series "Game of Thrones." The city has a rich history and offers many historical and cultural attractions.

Opatija is known for its beautiful gardens and parks, such as the stunning Angiolina Park. The town has a long history as a popular vacation destination, dating back to the 19th century when it was a fashionable resort town.

Each of these destinations has its own unique charm and history, making Croatia a diverse and captivating travel destination. I would love to tell you more about my Croatian adventure and start planning yours.
