Snorkeling Excursions in Cancun or Riviera Maya

The Puerto Morelos National Park is a great destination for snorkelers, as it encompasses the second largest coral reef in the world.  Plan to spend a full day – you’ll visit three different snorkeling locations, and view the spectacular sea creatures that populate the reef.  Don’t hesitate to enjoy this experience if it’s the first time you’ve tried snorkeling.  The experienced tour hosts will provide you with all the equipment and instruction you need, besides providing information about the amazing biodiversity of the sea life you’ll be introduced to.  The park has a wonderful buffet and an open bar in their Beach Club and souvenir shops where you can find a memento to bring home.

After a long day in the sun you don’t want to worry about transportation back to your hotel.  This excursion makes life easy – you’ll be picked up and returned to your hotel by the tour company. A few tips for visitors to the park:

Bring towels, biodegradable sunscreen, money for souvenirs and tips, and dry clothes

Snorkeling is not recommended for people with physical handicaps or women who are pregnant.

Snorkelers must be at least 5 years old.

Anyone under the influence of alcohol or other drugs will be denied admission.
