When I go on vacation, I like to make sure that all details are taken care of (flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing) yet also want to have some free time to explore whatever I might be interested in doing that day. I know most of my clients als...

After over a year of isolation, people are eager to get their families back together for a long-awaited reunion.  What better way to do it than to plan a cruise?  Nobody has to play “host,” meals and clean-up are somebody else’s responsibility, and entertainment for all ages is right around the corner. What kind of family reunion are you looking for?

Adventurers? Consider a Princess Cruise of New Zealand, beginning in Auckland.  This cruise brings you to one of the seven “Cruise Wonders of the World,” Fiordland National Park. You can raft down the Kaituna River, take a safari trip to the top of Cape Kidnappers, or hike into Tauranga’s thermal valley. Experience the Maori culture in Wellington, where the rugged, rock studded shoreline is home to many seals.

History Lovers? Princess Cruises offers a 10 day round trip cruise from London.  You’ll see Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, and go WAY back in time with a visit to Stonehenge. Take a tour of historic Belfast, and visit local pubs that were the favorite watering holes of Northern Irelanders centuries ago.  Visit the Giant’s Causeway, one the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Visit the ancient castles of Wales, and enjoy Welsh tea in Holyhead.

On a Budget? This 5 day West Coast Cruise is a round trip from San Francisco, one of the most beloved cities in the US. You’ll visit Muir Woods, Sausalito, and the wine country of Napa Valley. The kids will love the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, and the adults can relax on a wine tour which includes two wineries and wine tastings.  In Ensenada, Mexico you’ll have the opportunity to attend a folkloric music festival and fiesta.  Sound like too much activity for toddlers and grandparents? You can stay onboard and enjoy kids club activities, movies, or just lounge by the pool!

Have a large family group? Everyone will enjoy a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale. This adventure begins on Princess Cruise’s private port of call on the island of Eleuthera. Those looking for more active experiences can snorkel, take a dune buggy ride, or try windsurfing. Those looking to relax can try their luck at fishing or just take a nap on the beach. In Costa Maya, Mexico, you’ll have a chance to visit several Mayan ruins or just hang out at the luxurious Uvero Beach Club.; Cozumel is well known by divers and snorkelers for the fabulous Palancar Reef which is home to many unusual species of fish and fabulous underwater landscapes.  If you’re more of a dry-land person, there are more Mayan ruins to explore as well as shopping opportunities in the local markets featuring handcrafted art of all types.

Whatever your family situation is, there’s a Princess Cruise that’s right for you.  I want to help you plan this extra special family get together!
