Its very simple, I have a passion for travel! My passion for travel shows in every client’s travel experience. Helping families plan multi-generational trips so that Grandpa and Grandma can watch their smallest grandchild enjoy seeing the ocean for the very first time, these are the memories that last forever!! Watching each of the families that I work with grow, from spring break travel, to engagement trips, to destination weddings, and onto their own new family vacations, it's all so incredibly meaningful. My love for travel has brought me all over the world, including Australia, Tahiti, Maldives, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico, St. Lucia & Europe, just to name a few. I have been fortunate to sail with all three of these river cruise lines. There are differences in their offerings, overall experiences and design.
A few highlights on each cruise line:
AmaWaterways is known for their attention to detail, personalized service, and focus on culinary experiences. Their ships feature spacious staterooms, many with balconies, and offer various onboard amenities, including pools which is uncommon on a river cruise. AmaWaterways focuses on immersive experiences and often provides guided tours and active excursions. They have bikes on board for guests to use which was another amazing way to tour around the cities. You can also take more than one tour in each port to maximize your time and see more. AmaWaterways has renowned chefs that provide regionally inspired cuisine that can’t be beat. AmaWaterways was my personal favorite and I look forward to sailing with them again.
Avalon Waterways is most known for their panoramic views and spacious accommodations. They have a unique open-air balcony concept. These ships have floor-to-ceiling windows that open to create an indoor/outdoor seating area. Their itineraries provide guided sightseeing tours at each port of call and focus on immersive experiences and cultural exploration. They offer active adventure itineraries that are one of a kind and they also offer special niche tours for wine enthusiasts, culinary exploration and MORE!
Viking River Cruises is one of the largest and most popular river cruise lines. Viking has the largest fleet of river cruise ships, all designed with a similar aesthetic and featuring modern amenities and comforts. Viking offers a wide range of itineraries, primarily focusing on Europe. Viking River Cruises is great lead in company for a river cruise and offers fantastic value.
