I fell so in love with Mexico that I decided to move there for nearly five months. I stayed in Puerto Peñasco with my dog Teddy Bear in a condo minutes from the beach and city center. I worked as a bartender at a beach resort where I had the opportunity to meet endless travelers and bonded with the local staff.
The food scene was fantastic and seeing the fisherman in action and then watching the fresh dishes come to life at the resort was quite the experience. My favorite thing to eat was oysters. Be sure to have them at Wrecked at the Reef when visiting Puerto Peñasco aka Rocky Point.
If you are a golfer be sure to make a tee time at The Links at Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort. Visit the Malecon for lunch and shopping during the day and music and entertainment at night.

The Moulin Rouge show in Paris, is a MUST SEE! I was completely blown away with how spectacular this show is. I really had no idea what to expect from this show. I had heard of it before but never really known what it's about. The show does have some nudity (women's breasts) but is available for ages 6 years and over. Phones are not permitted during the performance so unfortunately, I can only share my experience and a photo of my excitement before entering the building.
Oh my gosh.. this show brought me to tears. In the best way possible! I paid around $100 euros to see this show and it was worth every penny. Dress to the nines & enjoy the show from your lamp-lit table, you’ll feast your eyes on a succession of feathers, sequins, can-can girls, acrobats, and comedians – sipping on delicious French champagne all the while.
