I have had the greatest opportunities to experience and see some of the best islands in the Caribbean. St. Lucia, Bahamas, Jamaica and Punta Cana.
While on these experiences I got to do MANY wonderful things like, shop at local markets, zip line, mingle and get to know the locals, eat at local restaurants and rum shops, see fishing villages, take a water taxi, snorkel the beautiful waters, walk the incredible beaches, see the natural wildlife and swim the calm blue waters.
One of my favorite things I like to talk about with Caribbean islands, is the concept of "Island Time" You quickly learn that Island Time basically means, it'll happen when it happens, and its all good :-) There's no need to rush! Slow down, take your time, enjoy the scenery, stop at a local bar and have a beer, get to know the locals.
During some of these work trips, I have toured and personally seen 15-20 different all-inclusive resorts. All are unique and different and offer their own special things!
