In all my years as a Travel Professional, with curiosity I've asked several the question "What are your must see countries?"  I was hard pressed to find one that did not list New Zealand!  I mean who wouldn't wa...

Caribbean Family Fun!

When choosing an All-Inclusive resort, there are many important factors travelers will take into consideration.

A few things to consider:

  • Food & Beverage Quality & Variety

  • Number of Pools

  • Room Types

  • Entertainment Options

  • Beach Quality

The big question that weighs on parents when vacation planning … "What will my kids enjoy doing during their vacation?" As a parent you want your kids to have a great time while spending quality time together as a family.  As a parent you also hope to sneak off for a few moments, but still want the kids to enjoy themselves during this time. With family-friendly resorts, you will find varying levels of experiences to choose from.

Many resorts will offer age-appropriate programs. Most will offer babysitting services for an additional cost as well. Most of the resort staff running these programs are red-cross certified. We can inquire directly with the resort you've chosen on their specific experience/certifications of their babysitters.

Here are a few examples of options family resorts may offer:

  • Water Park(s)

  • Lazy River(s)

  • Waterslides

  • Group Activities from cooking classes to organized games

  • Camping on the beach/bonfires

  • Movies under the stars

  • FlowRider Surf Simulator

  • Teen Nightclubs

  • Kids Programs (age-appropriate)

  • Rock climbing walls

  • Roller Skating

  • Pack n' Plays for the room

  • Playgrounds

  • Bowling Roller Skating

**Additional charges may apply for some of the above - ask me for details**

You won’t run out of things to do at the resort. Resorts will also offer many of the following activities: kayaking, snorkeling, volleyball, table tennis, windsurfing, sailing, paddling-boarding, basketball, volleyball & tennis courts, etc. Kids programs will widely vary on what they'll include such as: water balloon flights, kickball, air hockey, video games, ping-pong, mini golf, etc.

While age groups will vary slightly from resort to resort, here are the average ages that are grouped together:

  • Ages:  4 to 7

  • Ages:  8 to 12

  • Ages:  13 to 17

There are only a handful of resorts that will offer a program for children under the age of 4, so please be sure to mention if this is important to you.

You'll also have resorts such as Beaches Resorts by Sandals that have partnered with Sesame Street or Nickelodeon Resorts located in Punta Cana & Riviera Maya (Opening 2020) with SpongeBob SquarePants & friends. Nickelodeon resort even has a villa called The Pineapple, which was inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants home!

Hard Rock Riviera Maya is a big time favorite amongst families as they offer Camp Woodward for kids ages 4 to 17. This 29,000 sq. ft. area offers tons of lifestyle sports which is built for thrills, and uniquely designed for all skill levels. Beaches Resorts by Sandals now offers the first ever Autism-Friendly Kids Camps.

For families of 5 or more, some resorts offer room types that will accommodate larger families, while others will offer guaranteed connecting room options.

Together we can find the perfect fit for not only your family’s needs and fulfill the wish list for EVERYONE!
