New Zealand

In all my years as a Travel Professional, with curiosity I've asked several the question "What are your must see countries?"  I was hard pressed to find one that did not list New Zealand!  I mean who wouldn't wa...

The moment I saw pictures of Nayara Hotel I was in love and I knew I had to stay there! It took me a few years, but when we finally did it was more amazing than I envisioned!  After this many years in the travel industry, it takes a bit more for me to feel impressed. Nayara exceeded my expectations. When we first arrived, our jaws both dropped … WOW!

Nayara Hotel consists of Nayara Gardens (Family Friendly) and Nayara Springs (Adults Only). They are sister properties located directly next door to each other.  The walk to the room is very lush, tropical, simply divine. We were shown to our suite on the Nayara Gardens side and I could not believe this was what I get to call “home” for the next few nights! The design of the room was so unique. We had a breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano & Rain Forest … I never wanted to shut the curtains!

Nayara is definitely not like the glitzy modern resorts you’ll find in Mexico and the Caribbean, it’s more of a boutique property.  It’s very quaint and cozy with the warm accents and lush grounds.

The restaurant at Nayara was incredible!  My boyfriend loved it so much, he still talks about it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing and the ambiance unique. You can sit back relax, enjoy good food and music.  It’s experiences like this that help create lasting memories for years to come.

While visiting Arenal we enjoyed Zip lining, which in Costa Rica is definitely top notch and a MUST if you have any interest in zip lining. We also hiked around Arenal and soaked in the relaxing Tabacon Hot Springs. Looking for a little local scene while here?  Check out La Fortuna Town.  The staff at Nayara can even recommend some of the favorite venues.  A notable mention of just Costa Rica in general— the pineapple was truly some of the best we’ve ever had!

To sum it up this luxurious resort is very tastefully decorated and harmonious with nature. It’s classy without being overdone. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided we’ll go back to experience Springs Villa.

If you want to experience Pura Vida which in Costa Rica this is the unofficial motto of “Pure Life,” I encourage you to include Nayara Hotel on your Costa Rican Itinerary. Together we can figure out if this resort is the right fit for you!
