New Zealand
In all my years as a Travel Professional, I’ve asked countless people, “What’s on your must-see list?” And without fail, New Zealand is always at the top! Honestly, who wouldn’t want to experience this majestic part of the world?
I was fortunate enough to visit both the North and South Islands, and what I love about New Zealand is that it offers the perfect blend of laid-back charm and action-packed adventure, all while being nothing short of epic.
The country is home to endless national parks, a rich Maori culture, and unforgettable experiences like sailing through the sounds while dolphins playfully follow your yacht. And let’s not forget the awe-inspiring moment of witnessing a sperm whale off the coast of Kaikoura—talk about jaw-dropping beauty!
Oh, and did I mention wine? If you’re a fan of great wine (and who isn’t?), New Zealand is a must-visit for its world-class Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and more. How do I know? Because I couldn’t resist visiting a winery or two during my travels!
Honestly, I could go on and on about the magic of New Zealand, but if you’re reading this, you already know you want to explore this incredible part of the world. Let’s work together to create your perfect New Zealand adventure!
Australia
Let me start by saying, I’ve wanted to visit Australia since I was a child. Why, you ask? Well, to pet a kangaroo, of course! And yes, I did! Not only did I pet a kangaroo, but I actually fed FOUR at the same time. Childhood dream come true, right? And I can’t wait to go back for round two.
While I was in Sydney, I had the chance to experience the spectacular Vivid Sydney Festival, celebrating its 10th year. It was honestly WOW! Never in my wildest dreams did I think Australia would be so perfect to visit during their winter season. But coming from Minnesota, their “winter” felt more like our fall—absolutely ideal! Seeing the Sydney Opera House light up during the festival was something I’ll never forget.
And then there’s the Blue Mountains region—so lovely to explore on foot. From there, we ventured to Hunter Valley (known to the locals as "The Hunter"), where wine flowed freely, and every glass was more delicious than the last.
Australia’s size is truly hard to grasp until you’ve experienced it firsthand. To put it in perspective: Sydney would be in Florida, Cairns (home of the Great Barrier Reef) would be in Maine, Uluru (Ayers Rock) would be in Kansas, Melbourne would be in New Orleans, and Perth would be in Los Angeles.
Whether you're dreaming of visiting the world’s largest Great Barrier Reef, immersing yourself in Aboriginal culture, swimming with whale sharks, or gazing upon the majestic Uluru, Australia has endless possibilities waiting for you.
Let’s make your dream trip to Australia a reality—one that you’ll remember for the rest of your life!

- Ever dreamed of escaping into the wild—somewhere raw, beautiful, and untouched? An African safari is one of those rare trips that stays with you forever. Picture the golden plains of the Serengeti or the lush wetlands of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Watch millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Maasai Mara during the Great Migration. Or hike through the misty forests of Rwanda or Uganda for a face-to-face moment with a mountain gorilla—an experience like no other. Whether you love nature, crave adventure, or just want something truly different, a safari offers it all. These are just a few reasons to make it your next big adventure.
Get Up Close with the Big Five
Seeing lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo in their natural environment is something that just hits differently. There’s this quiet thrill that comes with watching these powerful animals roam free—it’s humbling, moving, and kind of surreal. Photos don’t do it justice. You have to feel it.
The Magic of a Game Drive
Imagine hopping into an open-air vehicle, the wind brushing your face as you cruise through the bush at sunrise. Your guide spots something in the distance—a cheetah on the move or a herd of elephants crossing a river. It’s like stepping into your own nature documentary, except it’s all unfolding right in front of you. In real time.
Culture Beyond the Wildlife
A safari isn’t just about animals. It’s about connecting—with people, too. Many safari experiences offer the chance to visit local villages, hear stories passed down through generations, try traditional foods, and get a sense of what life looks like far from the modern world. These moments can be just as powerful as seeing wildlife—sometimes even more.
Stay in Style—Even in the Wild
You might be miles from the nearest city, but that doesn’t mean you have to rough it. Safari lodges and camps range from cozy and authentic to high-end luxury. Think private tented suites, gourmet meals, infinity pools overlooking the savanna, or falling asleep to the sounds of the wild just outside your window. The accommodations are often an experience in themselves.
Witness the Great Migration
If timing works in your favor, you might get to witness one of nature’s most awe-inspiring events: the Great Migration. Picture millions of wildebeest and zebras moving together across the plains of East Africa. It’s powerful, chaotic, and completely unforgettable—one of those rare sights that truly takes your breath away.
Explore a World of Diverse Landscapes
Africa’s beauty lies in its variety. Want wide-open savannas? Head to Kenya or Tanzania. Looking for jungles and gorillas? Rwanda and Uganda will deliver. Prefer wetlands and river safaris? The Okavango Delta or Zambia’s Lower Zambezi are amazing. Each destination brings something different—and no two safari trips are ever quite the same.
Give Back While You Travel
One of the most meaningful parts of a safari? Knowing your trip can make a positive impact. Many tour operators work closely with local communities—offering jobs, supporting schools and clinics, and helping protect traditional ways of life. When you travel consciously, you’re helping make a real difference for the people who call these places home.
Travel with Purpose
More and more safari companies are putting sustainability front and center. By booking with these operators, you’re helping protect endangered species and preserve fragile ecosystems. It’s a beautiful way to explore the world—knowing you’re doing it in a responsible, thoughtful way.
Tailored to Fit Your Style
There’s no one-size-fits-all safari. You can go full luxury, keep it simple, focus on adventure, or even make it a family trip. Whether it’s walking safaris, candlelit dinners under the stars, or a mix of both—it’s about crafting something that fits you.
A Journey That Stays With You
An African safari isn’t just a vacation. It’s a reset. It’s clarity, connection, wonder. You come back with stories, yes—but also with a changed perspective. It’s the kind of experience that stays in your bones long after you’ve unpacked your bags.
If this sounds like the kind of adventure you’ve been dreaming about, I’d love to help you make it a reality. Whether you know exactly where you want to go or you’re just starting to explore the idea, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Let’s start planning your once-in-a-lifetime African safari—your wild, beautiful journey is waiting.
