I have been working with customers on their vacation plans for over 20 years. The beach, the sand and the turquoise water. Is there any better place to relax? I have helped singles getaways, honeymoon couples, young families and families planning ...

Embarking on a journey to Morocco turned out to be an enchanting experience, filled with rich history, cultural immersion, and delectable cuisine. From the bustling markets of Marrakech to the serene landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, every moment was a captivating chapter in this North African odyssey.

Our adventure began in Marrakech, a city that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. The day commenced at the Marrakech Synagogue, a historical gem dating back to the 1600s, offering a glimpse into the city's diverse heritage. Exploring the souks and shops in the vibrant Medina of Marrakech was an absolute delight. From handcrafted goods to aromatic spices, the medina provided a sensory overload of colors, scents, and textures.

Casablanca, a city steeped in history. We visited King Hussein's tomb. The architectural splendor and the historical significance of this site were truly awe-inspiring. Guided by experts fluent in multiple languages and well-versed in American history, our exploration extended to the Roman ruins, where we learned about the innovative use of gava plants for cloth, resembling silk in texture. The day concluded with a visit to the magnificent Masjid in Casablanca, a grand structure capable of accommodating 100,000 worshippers, making it a spiritual and architectural marvel.

A culinary adventure awaited us as we indulged in a delightful lunch at a winery just outside Marrakech, savoring predominantly French cuisine with a Moroccan twist. Our journey took an unexpected turn towards Sir Richard Branson's retreat and spa in the High Atlas Mountains. Despite a recent earthquake, the retreat exuded tranquility, featuring camels that could be fed and petted, providing a unique connection with the local fauna.

Morocco's culinary scene continued to impress, highlighted by a food tour through the Marrakech market, guided by a seasoned chef. The day ended with an exquisite meal at the chef's restaurant, offering a fusion of flavors that delighted the palate. Accommodations were equally extraordinary, with stays in intricately designed residences where four and five houses were seamlessly merged, each room boasting its own distinct charm.

A visit to the Chateau de Roslane showcased Morocco's architectural splendor amidst breathtaking landscapes. The option of camel riding and hiking trails provided a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

Our exploration extended to the Yves Saint Laurent gardens, where the legendary designer rests alongside his partner. The gardens, a testament to his artistic legacy, provided a serene retreat.

The trip concluded with a visit to a pottery place, allowing us to order personalized, handmade pieces to be sent back to the states. This creative endeavor served as a tangible memory of our Moroccan stay.

My journey through Morocco was full of history, culture, and gastronomy. From the bustling markets to the serene mountain retreats, each day brought new discoveries, leaving unforgettable memories. Morocco, with its captivating blend of tradition and modernity, is a destination that promises an unforgettable travel experience. Let’s plan your Moroccan adventure.
