So you are planning on getting married, let me help you plan your dream honeymoon or how about a fabulous destination wedding. From the sunsets in Hawaii to the fiestas in Mexico, I can help you find the perfect destination to make all your dreams...

Our family absolutely loves visiting Walt Disney World, and there’s truly no better time to go than during the holiday season. From mid-November through December, the parks are transformed into a winter wonderland—complete with dazzling Christmas lights, festive decorations, and a magical atmosphere that’s impossible to resist.

Experience the Magic of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

One of the highlights of visiting Disney World at Christmas is attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. This is a separately ticketed event—and trust me, it’s so worth it. The park closes early to regular guests, which means shorter wait times for popular rides, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and special holiday treats only available during the party.

  • You’ll also get to enjoy seasonal entertainment like:

  • Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

  • A holiday-themed fireworks show

  • Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa stations

  • And snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A.!

It’s an unforgettable evening for all ages and an absolute must-do for Disney holiday travelers.

Disney World Mini Golf – A Hidden Gem

Here’s a fun tip that many people don’t know: Miniature golf is included with your Disney World theme park ticket! You can choose from two whimsical courses:

  • Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course

  • Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course

We opted for Winter Summerland and had a blast playing the Summer course—so much fun, in fact, that we stayed and played the Winter course too. It’s a great way to unwind and sneak in some laughs between park visits.

Our Stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort

For this trip, we stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside, a beautiful Moderate Resort themed around the charm of the Mississippi Bayou. While the resort is quite large and spread out, it offers four bus stops, which helps with getting around.

Travel tip: Pay close attention to your bus stop location—especially after a long park day! I hopped off at the wrong stop once, but thankfully our room wasn’t too far. Despite a little extra walking, we loved the peaceful setting, boat transportation to Disney Springs, and cozy Southern theme. We’d absolutely stay here again.
