First family trip to Walt Disney World!
I came across this photo of me and my family during my first of many visits to Walt Disney World. It made me think of an advertisement Disney occasionally runs in which the parents are surprising their children with a Walt Disney World vacation. The youngest doesn't quite understand and the older siblings have to sit her down to tell her, "We're going to Disney!" It's so nostalgic for me every time I see it. Just like in the commercial, my older sisters had to further explain to me what our parents had just told us! I remember how excited I then was and couldn't wait to meet Mickey Mouse and see Cinderella's Royal Castle!
Many of us can relate to this ad. Disney sure has a way of tugging at our heart strings. Now as an adult and also as a travel advisor, I know how special it is to make the most of each day you're in the parks and I want to make it just as magical for my clients as it's been for me. I want them to have those same 'goosebumps moments' that I had when being told about our trip and when sharing these memories we've had as a family.
